We’re thrilled that you’ve decided to make our Renton practice your new dental home. When you visit us for the first time, you can plan to be here for about 1.5 hours for the comprehensive new patient appointment.
Amenities for Your Convenience
Our patients and their guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and water. If you need a boost, you can even request a cup of coffee and freshly brewed tea.
Each of our clinical rooms are designed with your comfort in mind. From modern, new chairs to warm blankets and neck pillows, many of our patients actually fall asleep during their procedures with our Renton dentist.
What To Expect
At this visit, you’ll typically see our hygienist first. During this assessment, we will take any necessary full mouth x-rays, perform a comprehensive periodontal screening, and clean your teeth (if you’re free of periodontal disease.) Then, our Renton dentist will perform an extensive exam to evaluate:
- Your existing dental work
- Specific locations that you may be concerned with
- The gums and bone around your teeth
- The integrity of your teeth, jaws, and TMJ
Generally, we will take high definition images of your teeth and any potential areas that need to be addressed. This visual information makes it easier to communicate our findings with you, so that you can make an educated decision about upcoming treatment. If therapy is necessary, we will review and explain the costs and associated insurance considerations.
