How Does Opalescence Teeth Whitening Work?
If you’re an ideal candidate for Ultradent’s Opalescence Go Whitening, Dr. Kaur will provide you with 2-3 preloaded whitening trays to wear depending on bleaching strength. These trays are prefabricated by the manufacturer and contain the bleaching agent in them already, making them perfect for our on-the-go patients.
Opalescence whitening gel works through its active ingredient, carbamide peroxide, which contains a 1:3 ratio of hydrogen peroxide. Carbamide peroxide breaks down to hydrogen peroxide, the actual bleaching agent that eliminates stains from your teeth.
Opalescence teeth whitening gel is available in multiple concentrations, ranging from 10% to 35%. All concentrations will achieve the same brilliant results over time, but Dr. Kaur will recommend the best fit for you based on your goals.
